At X-Crop, our work often involves [designing products]—integrated product-service-system that address complex human and urban needs; [designing processes]—meaningful interactions and ecosystems that define goals, establish direction, and achieve the big picture within the context of larger systems; and, [designing places]—sensitive and intensive spaces and experiences that improve social, cultural, physical, and health conditions.
Designing Products
We rethink every touchpoint by designing products [integrated product-service-system] that increase local capacity and resilience. We propose ideas that are possible, realistic, sustainable, and context-specific, ranging from wearables to household appliances, emergency tools and mobility, civic and human infrastructure, and communication and interaction objects. Each project is an opportunity to design and build better and more efficient products and services, from the smallest detail to user experience and product life-cycle.

Designing Processes
We discover order in the midst of chaos designing processes [meaningful interactions and ecosystems] that bridge the gap between problems and the current conditions of any given environment in a reasonable way by breaking everything down into smaller bits. We ensure that our approach provides a solid foundation for the processes and directions we suggest, from challenging the dependability, scalability, and maintainability of given solutions to determining the best ways for implementing and running them to reach the main goal.

Designing Places
We tackle social isolation and contribute to economic advancement by designing places [sensitive and intensive spaces and experiences] that drive growth and investment—fostering meaningful links and interactions between people, the planet, and the built environment. We work with existing urban conditions and local capacities to build emotional and economic ties, starting at the building level and progressing through streets and neighbourhoods to create decentralised, inclusive, and accessible forms of experiences that inspire citizens while attracting the desired audience. From interventions that are sensitive to cultural identity and heritage to opportunities for intensity and immersion in various activities.
